Justin handles junk removal in Colorado Springs and across the Pikes Peak region, and he does every part of the job himself. Most calls are for a mixed pile: a couch, a busted dresser, boxes left over from a move, an old grill and a roll of carpet scraps, all hauled away for one price. A lone couch on its own is a furniture removal job, but most people have a bit of everything sitting in one corner. Call or text (719) 246-8422 for a price.

He's open 24/7, arrival comes in a two-hour window, and he can come same day, most days. Every load starts with a call or a text. Tell Justin what's in the pile and where it sits, and he gives you one number for the whole thing. If email suits you better, write to Junkernaut.JunkRemoval@gmail.com. He works Colorado Springs, Monument, Falcon, Peyton, Fountain, Security-Widefield and the other towns across the Pikes Peak region on Justin's route. He started Junkernaut Junk Removal in 2026, and his 34 Google reviews sit at 5.0 stars.

What lands in a typical junk removal pile

Junk removal is the catch-all job. This job is for the pile that doesn't fit one label. A typical load might be a recliner with a broken lever, a treadmill and the TV that died last winter. Most loads mix big furniture with the small stuff that piles up around it, and that mix is normal here.

Homeowners call after a move, or when the spare room finally has to turn back into a room. Landlords and property managers call when a unit turns over and the last tenant left a sofa and a pile of bags behind. Nobody has to sort it into categories before calling. Either way it's one price for everything Justin loads.

If the whole garage or basement has to be emptied top to bottom, that's a garage clean out or a basement clean out instead. A house being emptied after an estate sale is an estate sales clean out.

How Justin carries out a mixed pile

Nothing has to be dragged to the curb first. Justin carries it out from where it sits, whether that's a sectional in the basement, a dresser at the top of a narrow staircase or a freezer in the back corner of the garage. He does the lifting and the stairs himself, so you can point at what goes and leave him to it.

For a rental, a property manager can set the whole job up by phone or text. Tell Justin which unit it is and how he gets in, and work out the details with him directly, since he's the one answering. Justin prices the job himself, so the number on the phone comes from the same person who loads the truck. Once he's there, he loads the Ford F-150 with everything on the list. If the tenant left something Justin won't take, say so on the call so it can be set aside.

Where a mixed load ends up

A mixed pile gets split up on its way out of town. Donation comes first. Furniture and household goods that still have use go to the Arc, Goodwill or Habitat for Humanity. Metal, like an old bed frame or a rusted grill, goes to a Colorado Springs metal recycler. Concrete and brick go to a recycling center. The flat screen TV that quit and any other electronics in the pile get split out as e-waste.

What's left after that is plain trash, and it goes to East Landfill or Midway Landfill, or through the El Paso County transfer station. Justin makes those runs himself. You don't have to sort anything in the driveway or figure out which drop-off takes what. It helps to mention on the call if a piece still works, like a lamp or a table in good shape, so it can head to donation instead of the landfill.

What a mixed load of junk costs

The minimum is $225. Past that, the price is one number for the whole job, and it comes from how much room the load takes in the trailer. A couple of chairs and some boxes sit near the low end. A full basement's worth sits higher. Loading, hauling and disposal are inside that number, and dump fees never show up as a separate line. Once the load is on, the number stays put.

Three kinds of items carry an add-on: tires at +$10 each, anything with freon at +$40 each, like a fridge, a freezer or a window AC unit, and a mattress or box spring at +$40 each. Those are the only add-ons Justin lists. He takes cash, credit or debit card, Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, Apple Pay, Google Pay or a check. The junk removal pricing guide for Colorado Springs has more on how load size sets the price.

What stays behind on a junk removal job

Four things don't go on the truck: propane tanks, asbestos, medical or biohazard waste, and fuel. Hazardous waste in general is refused. On a mixed job these tend to hide in the garage. That usually means a gas can on the shelf or a propane cylinder still hooked to the grill.

Mention anything like that when you call or text, so Justin can price the rest of the pile without it. Set it aside and he loads everything else. The grill itself, a shop vac or an old space heater can still go in the trailer. Only the items on the list stay behind. If you're not sure about an item, the guide to what goes on the truck covers the common ones, or ask Justin on the call.

How the price works

Call or text (719) 246-8422. Justin looks at how much room it takes on the truck and gives you one number for the whole job. The number doesn't change once it's loaded. Jobs start at $225. The only add-ons: tire +$10, anything with freon +$40, mattress or box spring +$40. More on how pricing works.
